Rules of Conduct

1. SAFETY

Stand Up Paddle Boarding on the water is at own risk! Always check your safety gear. Life vest or floating leash are absolutely essential.

2. PLAN & CHECK

Inform yourself in advance about the water accesses, the weather conditions (Wind direction!) and the water temperature.

3. RESPECT

Respect nature and protected areas and keep your distance from reed areas (at least 25 m) and protected area boundaries. Do not enter private property.

4. RESPECT OTHERS

Keep enough distance from watercraft (they always have priority) and watch out for swimmers and other paddlers.

5. CROSSING THE LAKE

Cross the lake only on the designated routes. Always be aware of water vessels. Don’t go too far from the shoreline (max. 100 m).

6. SNACKS & DRINKS

Always have enough snacks, thirst quenchers and sun protection with you on longer routes. Take your rubbish back home with you.
