A quick SUP-trip to the lake, heave the board out of your car and go right into the water. The lake access in Bad Saag, between Velden and Pörtschach, is perfect for this. Along the main road there is a long parking strip with a viewpoint and a rest area, and next to the wooden steps there is a small meadow where you can pump up your board and let it dry. The entrance is relatively flat and easy. The location on the north shore is sunny and panoramic. From the water, the exit is difficult to see between trees and reeds. Remember the exact location so you don't have to paddle an extra lap along the shore.
