Lake access Tramway

The tramway at the bridge over the Lendkanal on the Wilsonstraße side has been at a standstill for decades. Nevertheless, there is always something going on here. The discarded tramway has been converted with attention to detail into a small snack bar with a shady guest garden. Here you can lift your board into the Lendkanal and only need a few paddle strokes until you can enjoy the vastness of Lake Wörthersee. You can park either at the roadside or at the large parking lot of the Alpen-Adria-Universität. Directly at the Lendkanal, there is only a bicycle and pedestrian path.
